Just Ate...

One of those "Uncle Ben's Breakfast Bowls" and a glass of Orange Juice for lunch.

I had the Ham, Eggs, and Peppers bowl. It was pretty good. There was only one thing that I didn't like about it: it had 900 MG of sodium. That's 38% of the recommended daily allowance. YIKES!!! It had only 9 grams of fat though.

I'll have to try some of the other bowls now.

Re: haha
I didn't realize the "Uncle Ben's" line was a part of the Sara Lee Corp.

UPC = Universal Product Code, right? (I know what they are, I just wanna make sure I've got the acronym right.)

I don't feel QUITE so bad about the sodium now, but DANG I'm thirsty!!!! :) :)

Breakfast Bowls? Ham, Eggs and Peppers?

Uncle Bens?

Hmmm, something about this sounds unappealing, I can understand why they are in the Outlet Stores...

But having said that, tell me more about them, and why you like them--but it sounds as though they're on their way out, if they're going into Outlet.

Actually they are a fairly new item from the "Uncle Ben's" company.

They are frozen, microwavable bowls that contain various breakfast foodstuffs.

I bought three other kinds today:

Apple and Cinnamon Pancakes
Eggs, Cheese, and Salsa
Sausage, Eggs, and Biscuits

There is also another kind that I did not purchase (and it has escaped my memory at the moment),in addition to the aforementioned Ham, Eggs, and Peppers in the previous entry.
