My Weekend So Far

Friday - I came home from work, had my usual Friday "treat" to myself, a Chicken Burrito Supreme and Steak Bowl from Taco Bell. I don't eat as much fast food as I used to, but I must admit, I have a jones for these things.

After lunch, I took a nap for a bit, and then got online and talked with razoondragoonus. Then I watched a bit of TV and called mikey89. The Mouse was out of town visiting friends so he did not join our conversation.

Saturday - Was an incredibly lazy day. My allergies were a bit bothersome and I didn't feel good for most of the day. I got up around 11:00 a.m., took a bath, then decided to get my "birthday lunch" at one of my favorite chinese restaurants. Yes, I know at this point in time my birthday was two days ago, but I was so busy with work at the time, I decided to wait until the weekend. I ordered some of my favorites: Chicken and vegetables with curry sauce and rice, steamed dumplings, two egg rolls with mustard sauce, and quart of my favorite soup: Hot and Spicy Sweet and Sour (That's what the restaurant calls it). It was GOOD!!! (rubs tummy). I still have some leftover, so I am going to have that for lunch as soon as I finish up here.

After my lunch, I pretty much took a nap for most of the afternoon. I was worn out and my allergies did not help much. Saturday was a weird day. The "vibe" was strange. I felt kind of lonely and isolated for most of the day. I also felt a serious longing to re-ignite my creativity, but did not really feel the inspiration to really work at it. I really miss the creative part of myself sometimes. I have to work hard to keep it going.

After I woke up from my nap, I played some songs from the radio and a few CDs, and just played around singing and such. Yes, I know it's silly, but I enjoy giving concerts for one. :) I talked to Mikey at 10:00 p.m. Again the Mouse did not join us because he is still out of town.

Sunday - Tonight marks the fourth season premiere of "QAF" on Showtime. I am STOKED!!! I love this show and it feels like I have been waiting SOOOOO long for the new season to start. I wish they would expand their seasons back to 20-22 episodes though. For the past two seasons, they have been airing 14 episodes per season. That is NOT enough for me. I want 20-22 again.

Also tonight on Showtime at 8:00 p.m. is the premiere of "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" with Kate Hudson and Matthew M. I haven't seen it yet, so I may watch it. Depends on what kind of mood I am in when 8:00 p.m. gets here.

Yaaayy!!! QAF is back on the air.. It was a good episode last night glad however they did a longer recap of the previous season.. It's been so long I almost forgot what happened.. And Tommy and I watched it together.. :-)

I tried watching "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" but lost interest in it within the first half-hour.. :-(
I guess it's not my style of movie.. I tried..
