What Can We Do with Our Old Software?

I've been thinking about this a lot lately. What is the best way to get rid of old software that you are not using anymore?  For example, I have the boxed Adobe Video Collection here. It contains about 10 pieces of software including Photoshop 7.0, Illustrator 10, Adobe Premiere 6.5, etc. I upgraded all of this software up to the latest release several months ago, so the old version is just taking up space here on my computer room floor.

I guess I COULD list stuff like this on E-Bay or something. I wonder though, I usually register all of my software after I purchase it. Since the software is registered to me, would there be any repercussions if I sold it now that I'm no longer using it?

I just simply dispose of old software, I will damage the CD's or whatever was enclosed so no one else can use them... don't want to take that chance.. :-)

nearly all software can be sold, and re-registered in the new owners name. Even Microsoft permits this on thier operating system programs. I believe most can be sold twice and some allow for even a third sale of the software and still allows registration by the new owner.
