DAMN I'm Lazy...

I woke up at 2:15 today.

Yes, you read that right, 2:15 p.m.

It's amazing how my sleeping schedule goes down the drain when I'm not working. Oh well, I will get back on schedule when I start working again.

My weekend was very good.

Friday I just mainly watched TV and lounged around a bit. Then talked to razoondragoonus online. After that I called mikey89. The Mouse did not join us since he is still vacationing in Boston. I also watched and taped "20/20" with the cast of "The Stepford Wives." I want to see that movie.

Saturday I lounged around again, and listened to some music. I gave my little "concert for one." I enjoy just sitting around and singing. In fact, I do wish I had more of a chance to perform again. I miss acting and singing. The Mouse called me at about 7:00 p.m. from Boston. He and the Boston gang were just lounging around. I even got to talk with shelrond for a while. I had not spoken with him in at least a year. I'm glad I got a chance to talk to him. The Mouse is enjoying himself shopping and such.

Sunday I woke up at about 12:30 and got ready for razoondragoonus to come over. He came to see me again. He got here shortly after 2:00 p.m. He brought up a book that he wants me to read. The actual name of it escapes me at the moment and I really don't want to get up and go in the other room just to find out what the full name is (I told you, I'm being lazy). Ok, hold on, I'll go look...

The book is called "Seduction by the Stars." It basically is a look into the different signs of the Zodiac and how they behave and interact with each other. When he handed it to me, I asked him, "Why do you want me to learn how to seduce people?" He laughed. The book really isn't THAT type of book. It gives good explanations as to why people behave the way that do according to their Zodiac sign.

So, of course, I immediately turned to my sign and his sign. As I was turning to his sign, I looked at him and said something like, "Okay, lemme figure you out here." Then I turned to mine and read over it too. As I was reading mine, I started making grunting noises. He started laughing at that. I haven't started reading the whole book yet. I'm sure I won't agree with everything in the book, but that is to be expected right? You don't HAVE to agree with everything written there to get something out of it.

Everybody on my friends list should know, when I'm done reading the book, I will have ALL of you figured out. Well, except maybe the Mouse. I mean we ALLLLLL know he's from another planet, right? HeeHeeHee. (He's gonna get me for that).

He hooked his Playstation up to my TV and we watched his DVD of "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King." I had not seen it yet. I missed it when it was in theaters. It is the only part of the trilogy that I have NOT seen on the BIG screen.

The movie was PHENOMENAL!!! It most certainly earned EVERY SINGLE ONE of the eleven Academy Awards it won at this year's ceremonies. Peter Jackson is a GENIUS!!! There were at least half a dozen times during the film where I had to force myself to hold it together and not break into tears. Of course I am going to buy it. I already own the other two. I also have to get the "Special Extended Editions" of "The Two Towers" and "The Return of the King."

After that, he went to Papa John's pizza to get something for dinner. While he did that, I made myself a copy of two CDs that he brought up for me. He got back at about 6:30, and we ate (Papa John's All Meat Pizza, breadsticks and Cream Soda to drink YUM!!!) Then, we watched one more DVD: "Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World" with Russell Crowe.

He left at about 9:30 p.m. I'm glad he came up to visit. He really is a great guy and he is very sweet. Even though sometimes he doesn't agree with me that he is a great guy. I'm glad he's my friend.

I called mikey89 at 10:00 p.m. and we watched "QAF" on Showtime. I must say that this has got to be the BEST SEASON YET of "QAF." This year, the focus is more on the lives of the characters and their emotions. It is also a season of growth and change for many of the characters, which I think is good. It was time to shake things up a bit. It keeps the show involving and interesting.

After the show, Showtime aired a preview of "More Tales of the City" and "Further Tales of the City." These are the second and third filmed installments of Armistead Maupin's famous books. I own the first, "Tales of the City," and the third, "Further Tales of the City," installments on DVD. The second installment, "More Tales of the City," is currently out of print on VHS and DVD so of course I will be taping it. I am looking forward to seeing it. If you haven't seen this series yet, I strongly recommend them. They are very good. I have not yet read the books, but I plan to.

Mikey and I ended our conversation at about 11:00 p.m. and I went to eat a snack and watch TV.

That was my weekend.

It was a good one.

I know. It's good to just take a day for yourself.

Did you ever catch the "CMT Flameworthy Awards" with Dolly Parton? It is being rebroadcast in June.

Of course.

I'm always glad to help out a fellow Dolly Parton fan.

Plus, I will always try to get the word out about her. She is such a great person and a fantastic performer, who does not get the radio airplay that she deserves.
