I'm So Sneaky...

Mom and Dad are gone to Ridgeway. It is a small community that has a local farm stand. The community is well-known for its cantaloupes. They also sell other fruits and vegetables at their local farm stand, but their cantaloupes are the best in this area. My mouth is watering just thinking about them.

Anyway, I have been noticing that the house has not been dusted in a while. Mom has not really been able to since she had her eye surgery. She has only been able to see out of one eye for the past few months. As far as my Dad, well his idea of dusting is to take his index finger and push the dust off of whatever surface it happens to be clinging to. Say for example, he is dusting a table; He will use his index finger to push the dust off of the table. Nevermind that the majority of the dust simply lands on anything UNDERNEATH the table. Until recently, I have been too busy at work to help with stuff like this, but I am on a six-day break right now.

So, while they are gone, I decided to use my time wisely. I went to the supply cabinet underneath our kitchen sink, and grabbed one of the "Pledge Grab-It" wipes out of the pack that I bought (I love those things; they actually HOLD ON to the dust so you can GET RID OF IT). I then proceeded to dust EVERY SINGLE THING I COULD GET MY HANDS ON.

After dusting the tables and such, I put all their little odds-and-ends right back where they belong. Mom and Dad will never be the wiser. I'm just waiting to see if they notice when they get home. *snicker*

The weird thing is, I used to be allergic to dust. So much so that when I used to dust anything, I would start sneezing. I have not sneezed ONCE during this little escapade. I wonder if I've outgrown my allergy to dust?
